Established in June 2005 by Matt Hoggett and Nanette Morris to provide Australia’s artistic community with a quality range of art services at affordable prices.


  1. ๏ Custom stretched canvases

Made to order from 8x8” to mural sizes stretched with either 100% linen or 100% cotton duck. Both available in a variety of grades and weights in either loom-state or primed surfaces.


  1. ๏ Stretcher bars

• Blank Canvas Co. stretcher bars are made of first quality sustainable solid or finger jointed plantation Cedar and Pine. We feel strongly to be as environmentally friendly, hence the use of plantation and finger joined timber. The stretcher bars are kiln dried to the proper moisture content and each stretcher bar is machined under close tolerances to ensure a perfect fit, and each end comes with a strong tongue and groove wedge-able mitre. 

• The bars strong construction measures either Painters (20 mm x 65 mm) or Gallery (32 mm x 65 mm suitable for mural sizes).

• Substantial bracing - single, double, triple, and quad.

• Standard sizes made in 2 inch increments from 8” to 80”. (Custom sizes also available)


  1. ๏ Photographic documentation of artwork

Depending on your purpose we can accurately capture your 2 or 3 dimensional artwork, with either large digital files or film (35mm or Medium format) burnt to CD/DVD. For correct colour matching bring your work to our studios, or book a location (i.e. at a gallery or your studio).


  1. ๏ Re-stretching Service

Finished canvases can be re-stretched onto either our 32mm x 65mm Muesum profile or 20mm x65mm Painters profile.

Please note due to the custom sizing the mitre is glued and joined and cannot be wedged out.
